About the Video

Why make a video?
Produced and presented by the Coastal Conservation League, Global Warming Guy is a lighthearted look at the serious issue of global climate change. We hope that online viewership of this video will lead people to explore the information and links on the website, and, in turn, better-inform the debate on this issue, both here in South Carolina and beyond.

Where was it filmed?
The entire video was filmed at various locations in the Charleston, South Carolina area, including the College of Charleston gym, the old Navy base at Noisette, Southease Biodiesel in North Charleston, Fuel Express in Mt. Pleasant, and Wando High School.

Who are the actors?
Andrea McGinn and Bill Stewart played "the Damsel" and "Mr. Big" respectively. CCL Executive Director Dana Beach starred as Global Warming Guy. The College of Charleston dance team, the Cougarettes, played themselves.
